Job Title: Precision Grinder

3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:00am)

Kings Mountain International, Inc. in Kings Mountain, NC, is seeking a Precision Grinder for 3rd shift.

Summary of Position: Sets up and operates precision grinding machines to produce sheet metals of uniform thickness within close tolerance limits, and to prepare surface of sheets for polishing to a specified finish.

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Operate and set up machines.
• Maintain required work records.
• Use various measuring devices as required.
• Comply with all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Other jobs and duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will:
• be able to work 3rd shift (Hours 11:00pm to 7:00am) with some overtime required to include Saturday/Sunday,
• be at least 18 years old,
• have a high school diploma or equivalent,
• possess an attention to detail,
• have at least six months manufacturing experience,
• have at least six months machine operation experience,
• be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• be able to stand for long periods of time.
• have a stable work history.
• Pass a drug and alcohol screening after an offer is made.

Typically, successful new hires receive a pay increase at around 90 days of employment.

Job Title: LPL Cut/Color/Buff Operator

2nd Shift (3:00pm to 11:00pm)

Kings Mountain International, Inc. in Kings Mountain, NC, is seeking a LPL Cut/Color/Buff Operator for 2nd shift..

Summary of Position: Sets up and operates buffing machines to produce a high quality polished surface or other special finishing on various sheet metals.

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Set up and operates machine.
• Runs plates to completion to obtain customer specified finish.
• Performs other work as directed by management.

The successful candidate will:
• be able to work 2nd shift (Hours 3pm to 11pm) with some overtime required to include Saturday/Sunday,
• be at least 18 years old,
• have a high school diploma or equivalent,
• have at least three months experience in industrial machine operation in a manufacturing environment,
• be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistance and be able to stand for long periods of time.
• have a stable work history.
• Pass a drug and alcohol screening after an offer is made.

Selected candidate will train on 1st shift (7:00am to 3:00pm).  Once training is complete candidate will move to 2nd shift and will then receive a shift differential of $0.45/hour.

Typically, successful new hires receive a pay increase at around 90 days of employment.

Job Title: HPL Chrome Plating Operator

1st Shift (7:00pm to 3:00pm)

Kings Mountain International, Inc. in Kings Mountain, NC, is seeking a Chrome Plating Operator for 1st shift.

Summary of Position: Tends chrome and other related process tanks that apply finish on surface of steel plates.

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Operate crane/hoist to apply finish to plates.
• Use various measuring devices as required.
• Works with various hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain required work records and documentation.
• Comply with all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Perform other jobs and duties as assigned

The successful candidate will:
• be able to work 1st shift (Hours 7am to 3 pm) with some overtime required to include Saturdays/Sundays, and must be able to report to work earlier than 7am if required,
• be at least 18 years old,
• have a high school diploma or GED,
• possess an attention to detail,
• have at least one to three months of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment,
• be able to lift up to 50 lbs.,
• have a stable work history, and
• Pass a drug and alcohol screening after an offer is made.

Typically, successful new hires receive a pay increase at around 90 days of employment.
