Job Title: Etching Associate

1st Shift (7:00am to 3:00pm)

Kings Mountain International, Inc. in Kings Mountain, NC, is seeking an Etching Associate for 1st shift..

Summary:  Follows instructions of Etching Technician and Management to assist in department in various capacities. Primarily helps Etching Technician with etching processes.

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Listens and follows instructions to assist Technician and/or Management, as instructed.
• Assists in the set up and operation of machines.
• Assists in maintaining etch line equipment with regular maintenance,
• Runs product to completion to obtain customer specified finish.

• Complies with all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Performs/assists with other work as directed by management.

The successful candidate will:
• be able to work 1st shift (Hours 7am to 3pm) with some overtime required to include Saturday/Sunday,
• be at least 18 years old,
• have a high school diploma or GED equivalent,
• possess a strong attention to detail,
• have three months’ experience in industrial machine operation in a manufacturing environment, other than forklifts,
• past experience working with chemicals requiring a respirator (preferred),
• be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.,
• have a stable work history, and
• Pass a drug screening after an offer is made.

Typically, successful new hires receive a pay increase at around 90 days of employment based on performance.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Kings Mountain International, Inc. in Kings Mountain, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor.

Summary:  We are seeking an experienced Leader to supervise the critical area of Production and Facility Maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess technical knowledge of industrial equipment, proven leadership skills, be proactive to maintain equipment/machines, and have experience in an industrial, production environment.

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Supervises maintenance department responsibilities and eight or more mechanics.
• Implements and manages a Preventative Maintenance program on all equipment.
• Coordinates all maintenance, installation, and repairs of equipment with Plant Manager.
• Works with Plant Engineer to resolve equipment/machine issues, as needed.

• Lays out projects, develops estimates, requisitions materials, and oversees independent contractors.

Requirements:
• Technical or vocational school degree or certificate preferred,
• Five or more years related experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• At least three years of Supervisory experience leading a maintenance team,

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Operate crane/hoist to apply finish to plates.
• Use various measuring devices as required.
• Works with various hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain required work records and documentations.
• Comply with all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Performs other work as directed by management.

The successful candidate will:
• be able to work 2nd shift (Hours 3:00pm to 11:00pm) with some overtime required to include Saturday/Sunday,
• be at least 18 years old,
• have a high school diploma or equivalent,
• possess an attention to detail,
• have at least 1 to 3 months’ of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment,
• have experience working with hazardous chemical (preferred),

• be able to lift up to 50 lbs.,
• be able to stand for periods at a time,

• have a stable work history,
• Pass a drug screening after an offer is made.
